The Lighthouse
Guilford Expansion
The Lighthouse in Guildford town centre is being lovingly refurbished and revitalised into a community space that's filled with kindness, belief, and hope.
Our mission is to address poverty of resources, relationships, identity, and spirit, and we currently host different projects to support anyone who finds themselves in need. Our team of volunteers are supported by a small staff team, and we run primarily on the generosity of donations and volunteers.
The Lighthouse is for anyone who finds themselves in need. This might include those experiencing loneliness or social isolation, individuals with mental or physical health challenges, people who have experienced violence in the home, those struggling with the cost-of-living crisis, refugees, families lacking support, youth, people in later life, households experiencing food poverty and many more. More than 8,000 people benefit from The Lighthouse projects every year.
