What's Happening
Prayer Spaces in Schools
Dear God...
“Hardly anyone can ever find God because God is right at the end of your mind after all the background thoughts are gone.”
Maisie Satchwell-Hust

Greenbelt Festival 2017
Vibing an Interfaith Prayer Space
What we achieved:

We installed and lit the Murmuration installation – for the ‘journey'.

We sourced and booked some beautifully shaped tentage for the far side of the lake (for the worship and prayer spaces) and we also sourced and booked in some beautiful young silver birch trees in big pots.

We appointed the local congregation at Geddington (our nearest parish to the festival site) to oversee and ‘hold’ the prayer space (and to water and place the trees each day!).

Our post-festival survey tells us that people LOVED the new quiet reflection and worship zone on the far side of the lake and they loved the beauty and impact of Murmuration too.

We even got a nomination for 'Best Mind-blowing Spectacle' in the independent festival awards for Murmuration!

Very closely connected to this specific activity, we won the the independent festivals ‘Act of Independence’ award this year for our Muslim cultural programming with Amal! You can read more about that here and watch the video.
