Building Bridges
Our Progress:

In June 2017 we were at Bedford Square and celebrated Eid Alfiter with the people of Exeter giving information about Eid Alfiter and sharing the Muslim Tradition of Celebration. In addition we consulted the public about how they wish to see the Building Bridges project develop. The photos show this day of celebration and consultation. Exeter City Lord Mayor Councillor Lesley Robson visited our stall. It was a great day.
The Center for Human Rights and Social Equality along with Devon Faith and Belief Forum have organised events.

On Saturday 11th of November 2017, Peace Prayers including observing 2 minutes silence and peace walk.
On 17 November 2017 at St. Stephen's Church we are organising a coffee morning and prayer circle and displaying information.
On 19 November 2017 at the University of Exeter we are organising Interfaith football tournament for young people to come together to celebrate our interfaith communities.
On 23 December 2017 at St. Stephen's Church we are organising coffee morning and bringing people from different background to pray talk about their traditions in celebrating Christmas.
We are meeting and talking to different communities from different faiths and belief how they wish to celebrate our differences and come together to break their isolation.
