Our Progress:

In 2016, we were involved in the production of the film 'Seeing Grace', which examines grooming and sexual exploitation. As a result, we began writing the S.L.A.V.E. Project, because we knew how important it was for this program to be written, and we knew the difference this approach would make.

Our journey began after 16 years of living alongside and witnessing the struggles faced by those working in the sex industry. The directors of the project also have over 20 years' joint experience of working with vulnerable adults and young people in the community in frontline Social Care. Regardless of how much the individuals we worked with wanted to make different decisions and live different outcomes in all areas of their life, it seemed impossible for them to leave due to their mindset. It became apparent to us that we needed to write a programme to help people avoid getting stuck in this mindset which limits their understanding of their true potential. Our mission is to reduce their susceptibility to any kind of exploitation by showing you how to shift the balance of power back to yourself. Tackling this mindset is the true intention of the S.L.A.V.E. project.
